All I Do Is Dream of Hue

Painting is a stylized Self Portrait rendered from a mobile phone phone selfie taken during a late night after a long days at home during the covid shut down. I photoshopped the original image to create a profile bathed in light and awash in vivid tranluscent blocks of color. I wanted to push my usual realistic representation work and try my hand at something a bit more painterly, surreal and sublime.
