It's a Chanticlear Kind of Day

This piece was done on site at Chanticlear Gardens. I prefer to work from life. The drama of the lighting as well as the beautifully landscaped gardens were my inspiration. My goal is always to capture the energy and mood of the surroundings. The painting was done entirely in pastel.
