Dancing on the Hill

On a fall morning walk in a local park I was struck by the colors and movement of these stalks of Indian Tobacco against the hillside. I began this with a watercolor underpainting of complimentary colors that I tried to let peek through in spots as a way to capture the soft warm "crazy quilt" effect that this place had on me.
