Fairfield Daybreak

This piece was inspired by a photograph taken by a member of the Fairfield, Illinois community. Normally, I would have gone to Fairfield for a plein air event, but because of the pandemic, they came up with a creative way for us to paint the Fairfield area, without traveling there. Members of the Fairfield community submitted photos for the invited artists to paint. We each chose a photo and submitted our interpretation of the photo for sale and judging.
