Soft pastel and pastel pencil on sanded paper 24 x 24 inches.The piece was inspired by the night time conversations with my beloved wife when were 3000 miles apart and talking on video chat. As she fell asleep i screen shot her and used the image to work from. The colors in her hair represent her glorious grey hair strands and also her native American Lakota Sioux heretage.
