In times of COVID19, looking for signs of hope, I started a project to raise funds to help 2nd responders.
“Georgia Highway Hitchhikers 2” represents gratitude to the invisible workers who toil the earth and plant the seed of hope. These flowers were painted from the hundreds of miles of stunning wildflowers planted by the Georgia Department of Transportation to add some colour to a traveler’s journey.
I started to experiment with pastels during the shelter at home period.
