In times of COVID19, looking for signs of hope, I started a project to raise funds to help 2nd responders.
“Dusky Girls” represents beauty at Dusk in the face of Sadness. I sought some signs of hope in light of COVID19 loss and the BLM movement. What seemed to be basic human rights for all of God’s beauty, asking for basic human dignity seemed so contrite.
I started to experiment with pastels during the shelter at home period.
