Canyon Echoes

While driving through Utah I stopped along the road and saw this magnificent view. I was struck by the various perspectives. There were so many vantage points and that made this subject very interesting to paint. Also I was attracted to the strong light and dramatic shadows and and the ins and outs of all the crevices with their foliage.
