Window Sill Still Life No. 4 -- Blue Glass

I frequently create still life subjects of objects on a window sill, so they are lit from behind by natural light and there is also a landscape component. In this painting, several objects of blue glass gave me the added challenge of representing the transparency and tint of colored glass, with the landscape visible through it. The orange glass bird provides a contrasting shape and color. I used a watercolor underpainting to unify the composition.
