Pointe Shoes

I painted these from my own shoes. I had wanted to try these satin shoes for a long time, and had just taken a workshop at which we did shiny metal cookie cutters. I applied what I'd learned, and whether or not this painting is awarded, it was fun! Most of the pastel pencils used were Derwent, and Caran D'Ache.
