Waiting in the wings

I wanted to explore the different ways light interacts with different fabrics. The velvety texture of the curtains absorbs and disperses the light, whereas stiff fabric of the dancer"s dresses brightly reflects the light. Used softer pastel for the curtains and medium to hard pastel for the dancers.
