Milo is our 17 year old Ocicat. A result of interbreeding the Abyssinian, Siamese and American Shorthair the Ocicat has a spotted coat which emulates that of the spotted wild cats. Ocicats are known for their super affectionate, loyal, and chatty personalities and often will bring gifts home for their owners. Over the years we have received several rats, rubber tree leaves, lunch wrap from the neighbouring school field, a beanie, and once she turned up with a baby’s jacket she had found on her travels.

Not dissimilar to dogs, Ocicats can be trained to walk on a leash. We never did that but when she was younger, she would follow me up the street so often when I walked our dog, that I had to drive the dog to the park so she couldn’t follow us and risk getting run over.
