Early Evening Light

One of my favorite things to do now that we don't have many options is to drive around and take pictures when the light is just right. I normally just take photos from the car as its moving (I'm the passenger!) and hope for something inspirational. This painting was the result of one of those evening rides. I found the cloud particularly beautiful and used it to establish the composition and contrast with the darker tree and field.
