Afternoon Light

Using a photo for reference, I tried to capture the light flowing through the foliage in this garden in the late afternoon. My surface is illustration board coated with acrylic ground for pastels. I used primarily hard pastels (Prismacolor) with Rembrandt and Terry Ludwig pastels.
