Ajaan Pannavaddho #2

This is my spiritual teacher. He passed away 16 years ago. The photo reference for this painting was in black and white, with an ugly plastic white chair, and the photo was pretty blurry. I designed the composition and tried to make a powerful painting with the black and white photo reference. Luckily I have other photos of him in high quality and in color, so I have enough information. It's been gifted for the commemoration of his passing away 16 years ago.
