Waiting at Round Cove

The medium is soft pastel on sanded paper. My inspiration for this work is a lovely place along the Maine coast that I visit often. I simply love the texture and rich color of Maine's rocky coastline fringed with mustard colored seaweed...and of course the single boat just waiting for me.
