For this painting, I was inspired by the Hubble Space Télescope Which took more than 7,000 images to help us look at the Andromeda Galaxy, our closest neighboring galaxy. Obviously, there are many more photos that need to be taken to Understand the galaxy. I created my version of the spiral galaxy and used ink rectangle shapes, representing photos not yet taken, to mark this time in history.
