Embracing the Sky

There's a farm near me that's being restored to prairie and the flowers this year were spectacular! I love painting the Willamette Valley prairies...the wide open spaces, the long distance views filled with an unimaginable number of flowers, grasses, insects and birds... This is a pastel rub in finished with a variety of soft pastels.
