Bébé Lou

This painting is made in pastels. This is my sister's cat, she saved him from death after he was abandoned by his mother. He has a strong personality and a lovely robe. I was really inspired by the strong light contrast stroking his pelage. I wanted to marry a thight approach in the face with a loose one on his fur. Even if it's looking very thight, his body took around 30 minutes to do! I'm used to do portraits, so this cat is my very first animal painting. I loved to do it!
