The painting is done from a photo I took in Montague, Texas of the large group of windmills that are installed as you are driving into town. Done on UART 500 with a background alcohol wash using the harder soft pastels and then soft pastels and pastel pencils to complete the painting. This painted not ever been entered in any competition as it was sold before I had it halfway completed.
